He was loved and cherished by many people including: his cousin Dave; his children, Jon-Eric, Kristin and Kara; and his grandchildren, Lucy, Alice, Hazel, Asher, Colette, Meredith, Holland and Cassandra.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service (1113 W Main St, Durham, NC 27701). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
