With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coral Louise Taylor of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred McKinney Fawkes and Edward Fawkes; her husband Rev. John E. Taylor; her son John E. F. Taylor; and her siblings, Gertrude Burnside, Bloneva Deveaux, William Fawkes and Sir Randol Fawkes.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Stephanie (Joseph C. Yancy), Dr. Sharon Taylor (Willie Covington), Philip (Joanne Taylor) and James Taylor (Detra Campbell-Taylor). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.
