He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Earl Decker, Sr. and Uda Vashti Phillips Decker; and his wife Betty Deene Hower. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Phillips Decker Glockzin (Tom), Thomas Clifford Decker (Rachel), Brantley Paige Blackwood (Jeff) and Ashley Brooke Thomas; his grandchildren, Virginia Glockzin Johnson (Brandon), Victoria Glockzin, James Decker, Michael Decker, Lainey Blackwood and Kirbey Blackwood; his brother Sam Decker; and his cousin Blenda Morris.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Triangle Grace Church (5001 Tudor Pl, Durham, NC 27713).
