It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Owen Hill of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Owen and Mary Hill; his wife Betty; and his great grandchild Owen Lee Hill. He is survived by: his children, Michael Hill (Laura), Kimberly Carpenter (Neal) and Christopher Hill; his grandchildren, Amanda Zweitzig (Quinn), Justin Hill (Kassandra), Collin Carpenter and Chloe Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Brian Sego, Skyler Zweitzig, Trinity Zweitzig, Orion Hill and Jaxon Zweitzig; and his siblings, Carol Ann Murray, Harold Hill, Treva Lemon (Wade), Joy Allen, Herman Mauldin (Sharon) and Doug Mauldin.
