It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Casimir K. Brown (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Casimir shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Casimir farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Taylor Brown; his children, Erik Rashad Brown, Naomi Bishop, Kristi Brown and Casimira K. Brown; and his siblings, Atty, Dr. James R. Brown and Agymah Ankomah.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph AME Church (2521 Fayetteville St, Durham, NC 27707). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
