He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mitchell and Mildred Mitchell; his wife Joy; his daughter Brenda Taft of South Windsor, CT; his son-in-law James Thibadeau of Hillsborough, NC.; his sister Anne Boisvert; and his siblings-in-law, Hank Boisvert, Barbara Mitchell and Dick Cashman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Thibadeau of Hillsborough, NC, Beth Schoonmaker (Wayne) of Alford, MA and Beverly Powley (Brad) of Mebane, NC; his son-in-law Bill Taft of South Windsor, CT.; his granddaughter Eileen Thibadeau (Rachel Wertheimer); his great grandchild Arielle; his grandchildren, Greg Thibadeau (Emily) and Erika Stubbs (Dan); his great grandchildren, Carter, Walker, Alexandra Bertsch (Ryan) and Margot; his sister Pat Paine; his niece Charlotte; and his siblings, Joan Cashman, Butch Mitchell and Joe Mitchell. He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
