With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Gray Hales (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thelbert Hales and Ethel Mae Hales; and his brothers, James Wilbur Hales and Robert "Kurt" Hales. He is survived by: his wife Faye Smith Hales; his daughters, Cathy Adcock (David), Lorraine Reynolds (Dale) and Amy McClintock (Keith); his grandchildren, Leonard Rhew (April), Elena Gomez (Rafael), Harrison SmithReynolds (Holly), Lee Reynolds, Katie Garrett (Carl) and Jackson McClintock; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Sosa, Charlie Brogden, Oliver Brogden, Benjamin Rhew, Emeline Rhew and Tobias SmithReynolds.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Service in Durham (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
