She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Oakley Gray and Frank L. Gray; her husband Charles W. Latta; her daughter Janet L. Pate; and her granddaughter Katelyn N. Latta.
She is survived by: her children, David E. Latta (Jane), Carolyn L. Whitley (Wade Rigsbee) and Ruth L. Collins (David); her adoptive daughter Carol P. Sandy (Clyde); her grandsons, Ron Whitley, Wes Latta and Greg Latta (Karen); her great grandchildren, Wesley Whitley (Kimberly), Evie and Charles Latta; her great great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, Roman Dean and Kathrine Whitley; and her close friend James H. Wheeler.
Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to Plainview Baptist Church in honor of Mrs. Latta.
