It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Berry Stox (Durham, North Carolina), born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earl and Joyce Pamplin Berry; her son Clyde Anthony "Tony" Satterfield; and her granddaughter Brittany Gail Satterfield. She is survived by: her children, Pam Emory of Durham and Scott Satterfield of Timberlake; and her sister Peggy Berry Kynoch of Alpharetta, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
