With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Blackwelder Suitt (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lewis Blackwelder and Eunice Irene Layton Blackwelder; and her brothers, Donald Kay Blackwelder and Fred Lewis Blackwelder. She is survived by: her husband Wade; her children, Wanda Suitt-Horton, Audrey Lynn Henderson and Bruce Douglas Suitt; and her grandchildren, Rachel Royal, Joshua Henderson and Crockett Henderson. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Family and friends are encouraged to sign the memory book and to donate a photo of Barbara "Bobbie" to the family in the memory box located at the memory table.
