We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2024, at the age of 90, Barbara Anne Thames of Durham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eugene Franklin and Alma Franklin; and her siblings, Hilda Franklin, Madge Castle, Shirley Goldstein, Lula Vaughan, Thomas Franklin, Joe Franklin, Pender Franklin and Vaxtor Franklin.
She is survived by: her son Jim Thames; her sister-in-law Gwen Bagby; her niece Kristy Whittington; her great-nephew Matthew Whittington; and her great-niece Lauren Whittington.
