He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Mabel Forte and Willie Davis, Jr.; and his sister Myra Belinda Forte Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Regina Miles Forte; his daughter Sandra Prince (Patrick Obiorah); his siblings, Wilma Mayfield (William), Herman Davenport (Sadie) and Reginald Davis; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Monique Prince, Prince Patrick Obiorah and Kamara Joy Prince; his godparents, Sadie and George Perry; his godchildren, Darius Lawrence, Sametrice Charles, Ashley Lawrence, Talia Bodison, Sha'Quanna Magwood, Jaheem Lawrence, Zanna Lawrence, Jas'Zaryia Lawrence, Lee Benton, Zi Cozart, An'Yanna Powell, Junior Powell and Dyson Harper; his great grandchild Za'ion Williams; and his aunts, Mary Coleman (John) of Albany, NY, Annie Hookes of Niagara Falls, NY, Mildred VanNess of Chad Bourne, NC and Hattie Jackson of Durham. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
