In loving memory of Albert Leon Stanback Jr. (Durham, North Carolina), who departed this world on July 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Albert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Leon Stanback, Sr. and Catherine Caldwell Stanback; and his sister Pamela. He is survived by: his friend Helen Chavious; his close friends, Lee, High, Taylor, Dansby and Stanback Attorneys; his wife Michelle Floyd Stanback; his daughters, Kynita Stringer-Stanback (Afiya), Portia Kee and Catherine Leigh Stanback; his granddaughter Victoria Kee Cromwell; his mother-in-law Willie Mae Floyd; and his siblings-in-law, Elson Floyd, John Floyd (Vonda), Luis Glean, Alfreda Floyd and Valencia Floyd (Keith). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Contributions to the Legal Community – North Carolina Central University School of Law, and Lifetime Achievement Award – Spectacular Magazine.
