He was predeceased by: his father William Edward; and his brother Steve Giese. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Cobb Giese; his stepchildren, Xan Hunter (Edward) and Lewis Zachary (Anita); his sisters, Pam Tolle and Joyce Hough; his stepgrandchildren, Zachary Hunter and Jordan Zachary; and his stepgreat-grandchild Luna Hunter.
