It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Mack Godwin of Dunn, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Godwin and Effie Smith Godwin; his brother Cecil; his sister-in-law Suzanne Godwin; and also Anne Crabtree Schillaci.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Garner Godwin; his children, Rich Godwin of Galveston, Brad Godwin of Houston, Dennis Strickland (April) of Benson and Heather Dunn (Jason) of Benson; and also Rich. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
