He is survived by: his wife Margie Byrd; his children, Cynthia Byrd Query (Cindy) and Thomas Bruce Byrd Jr. (Tommy); his wife Debi of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Meredith Query of St. Simons Island, Melissa Pearson (Jonathan) of Lyman, SC, Michelle Sullivan (Jeremy) of Wilmington, Ruth Edwards (Aaron) of Leland, Ryan Byrd and Colby Byrd of Wilmington; his great grandchildren, Riley Pearson of Lyman, SC and Eleanor Edwards of Leland; and his brother Jerry Byrd (Becky) of Carolina Beach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
