We bid farewell to Shelton Jackson Hinnant of Dunn, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Shelton Jackson touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hinnant and Chessie Mae Tippett Hinnant; his wife Frances Hinnant; his grandson Chris Lee; and his grandfather Jackson Tippett.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Lee of Four Oaks, Darlene, Frankie Hobson of Dunn, Don Stanley, Debbie of Four Oaks, Belinda Jenkins of Clayton, Mark of Clayton, Randy of Clayton and Gail Hinnant of Clayton; and his sisters, Rudene Griffin of Zebulon, Shirley Wiggs of Angier and Neva Brantley of Wendell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
