She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew Smith; and her parents, Charles Wayne Bass and Ruby Gerald Miller. She is survived by: her boyfriend Earl Bowman of Godwin; her children, Tina Comfort (Michael) of Dunn, Joshua James Harrington (Tammy) of Dunn and Dalton Smith (Jessica) of Dunn; her sister LouAnn McKoy (Christopher) of Dunn; and her nephews, Adam Beasley and Tracy Beasley of Dunn. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home (401 W Cumberland St, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Beginnings Worship Center (3224 Ashe Ave, Dunn, NC 28334).
