She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Tew and Melba Tew. She is survived by: her husband David Hooton; her daughters, Jill Hooton Smith (Scot), Hollie Hooton Meininger (Nicholas) and Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Gavin, Graham Smith and Olivia Meininger.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Fellowship Hall. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Robert's Grove Ofwb Church (725 Roberts Grove Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
