It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Viola Young of Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Beacham and Sudie Faye Coletrain Beacham; and her niece Lindsey Jordan Barefoot. She is survived by: her husband Matthew; her sons, Timmy Barefoot (Robin) of Newport News, VA and Raymond Barefoot of Butler, NC; her stepsons, Matthew Young, Jr. (Angie) of Roseboro, NC and Shawn Young (Charity) of Dunn, NC; her brother James Corbett Barefoot of Newton Grove, NC; her close friends, Alexis Cordero and Josiah Cordero; and also Doug. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
