He was predeceased by: his parents, Halery A. Tew and Eula McLamb Tew; and his siblings, Lacey "Bud" Tew, Leta Matthews, Adeen Jordan, Peggy Barker, Bonnie Dale Fann, Cloyce Tew, H. A. Tew and Earl Glenn Tew.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Butler Tew; his children, Jeffery Tew, Travis Tew, Michelle Thomas (Don), Lynette Hester (Brian) and Kelly Matthews (Shannon); his grandchildren, Bridget Tew (Clint), Taylor Tew (Katie), Halery Tew (Anna), Hilary McCullen (Will), Kendra Culley (Brian), Kaitlyn Strickland (Brian), Austin Hester (Kate), Bryce Hester, Kasey Matthews and Ira Matthews; his sister Elma Peterson (Bobby); and his sister-in-law Jenny Tew. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
