He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy P Davis and Nell Christine Davis; his brother Michael "Mickey" Davis; his niece Sherrie Herd; and his uncle Jerome "Jerry" Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Lee Davis; his sister Diane Davis Beistline (Charles); his nieces, Mitzi Davis Nuckols (Blair) of Virginia Beach and Erica Beistline; his aunt Marie Rhodes of Freemont; his sister-in-law Sue Lee Dodd of Four Oaks; his niece Rebecca; his nephew John; his sister-in-law Rosie Lee of Hickory; and his nieces, Margaret and Mary.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skinner & Smith Funeral Home (905 Erwin Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (309 W Broad St, Dunn, NC 28334).
