Nancy Jernigan Fann Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Jernigan Fann, 86, of 304 E. H. St. Erwin, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Senior Citizens Village in Dunn.
Mrs. Fann was born on December 3, 1935, in Sampson County to the late Miles H. and Lela Hayes Jernigan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Allen Fann, Jr., and sisters, Louise J. Langley, of Seattle, Washington. Lois J. Stanley of Dunn; brothers, James R. Jernigan of Dunn, Dewey Jernigan of Dunn, Odell Jernigan of Angier, Archie Jernigan of Dunn, Lewis Earl Jernigan of Dunn; and a grandson Jack Wilson of Erwin.
Mrs. Fann was a long-time member of St. Matthews PFWB Church in Erwin. She served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary for several years.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Dunn.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda T. Bethune of Lillington, Hilda T. Williford of Erwin; sister, Dorothy House Bowling and husband, Billy of Dunn; stepdaughter, Judy Fann of Erwin; stepson, Allen Fann of Fayetteville; grandson, Jason Todd Wilson of Benson; granddaughter, Misty D. Bethune of Georgia; step-granddaughter Brittany F. Allen of Benson; great-grandchildren, William, Kelsey, and Jackson of Benson; several nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Sam.
The family will receive friends 2 – 3 p.m. Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Dorothy and Billy Bowling, 55 Wordsworth, Dr. Dunn, NC.
