She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wise and Christia Williams Wise of Newton Grove. She is survived by: her husband Dallas L. Dafford, Sr.; her daughter Teresa E. Dafford of Durham; her grandsons, Julian Dafford Humes of Chicago, IL., Cameron Dallas Dafford of Willow Spring and Caden Leo Dafford of Willow Spring; her daughter-in-law Sadara Ray Dafford of Willow Spring; her sister Gail Stewart (James Robert) of Goldsboro; her siblings-in-law, Julius Brackeen of Fayetteville and Della Dafford Michaux (Eric Michaux) of Durham; her nieces, Kimberly Lester (Lucious), Anita Brackeen, Whitney Stewart and Ebony Stewart; and her nephew Justin Dafford Michaux (Chelsea Dennis). She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah-Harnett Original Free Will Baptist Church (145 Prospect Church Rd, Erwin, NC 28339).
