She is survived by: her sons, N. C. and William Thurman "Jack" Jackson, Jr.; her stepdaughter Stephanie B. Carter; her sister Audrey D. Gainey of Linden, NC.; and her grandchildren, Michael Downey, Jennifer, Kaylee Jackson Hair, Clint and Lee Mathis.
