It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Pilar Jones of Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Gabriel Soler; her spouse Leamon Dearl Jones of Dunn; and her daughter Susan Maria Bennett. She is survived by: her son Joseph "Joe" David Jones (Paula) of Dunn; her son-in-law Mike Bennett of Arlington, Texas; her grandchildren, Matt Bennett, Katie Reed (Charlie) and Grayson Jones; her brother Pepe Soler Serrano (Ines) of Madrid, Spain; and her stepdaughters, Barbara Lawrence (Bob) of Vass, N. C., Connie Lanier (Harold) of Parkton, N. C. and Donna Sue Jones of Stafford, Virginia. She is also survived by 21 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
