She is survived by: her children, William Odell Ray, Jr., Archie Jeron Ray, Judy Ray, Denise Green of Dunn, NC, Doris Ray and Teresa Jones; her grandchildren, Brian, Cory (Kasha), Brandon, Salina, Adrian, Bradley, Myron, Jasmine (Mike), Dallas, Kendrick, Anna and Josiah; her siblings, Virginia Chance of Bunnlevel, NC, Geraldine (Alphonza) of Fayetteville, NC, Dorothy McKoy (Ruben) of Erwin, NC and Larry D. McNeill of Cary, NC; her siblings-in-law, Mable McNeill, Carlotta Idella McNeill, Louise Goode, Thelma Eaton, Janice, Larry Mickey Ray of Baltimore, MD and Davis Hunter of Erwin, NC; her godchildren, Jewel Hunter and Reggie Robiason; and her niece Phyllis Phillips of Erwin, NC. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dafford Funeral Home - Dunn (707 E Edgerton St, Dunn, NC 28334). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 25 Beaver Rd, Erwin, NC 28339.
