With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois McCorkle Mountcastle (Dunn, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth McCorkle and Rosie Cox; and her son Steven. She is survived by: her sisters, Carol and Wanda; her sons, Jerry and Kenneth; her husband James Mountcastle; her sister Mary Robinson; her children, James, Michael (Sherry Robinson) and Tracy (Anthony McLamb); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron Obdens), David McLamb (Kayla), Danielle McLamb, Mark Mountcastle (Brandy) and Matthew Mountcastle; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Mike, Samuel, Easton, Derrick, Gabriel, Daniel, Kenny Mack, Trinity and Layla.
