She is survived by: her sons, Linwood Lee "Sonny" James Jr. (Beth) of Little River and Dennis Ray James (Amy) of Erwin; her sisters, Nell Lawing of Cary and Mary Ann Howell of Goldsboro, NC.; her grandchildren, Jason James of Dunn and Jessica James of Dunn; and her great grandchildren, Jason Ray James Jr., Mattie Starling and Nora Starling.
