Leon McLamb Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon McLamb of Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leon McLamb to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie McLamb and Lillie Pearl Lee McLamb; his grandson Brad Adams; his great grandchild Ashleigh Nunnery; and his brothers, Junior McLamb, Edward McLamb and Hughlon Ray "Hoot" McLamb.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hudson McLamb; his daughters, Genise McLamb Wyer (Michael), Pearl Denise McLamb Barefoot (Wayne Cagle), Gail McLamb Jones (Ronald), Anita McLamb Jernigan (Ricky) and Nichole McLamb Wood (Ron); his stepson Junior Godbold; his grandchildren, Jason Barefoot, Candice Tart, Kyle Jones (Morgan), Steven Godbold (Jackie), Cheri Godbold and Patrick Godbold; and his brothers, Thurman McLamb of Angier and Maylon McLamb (Katie) of Benson. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM and at 1:45 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (416 Greenleaf Rd, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
