She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wilder and Mafra Higgins Wilder; her husband Howard Strickland; and her siblings, Jimmie Wilder, Sarah Smith and Janie Marks.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Gossett of Winston-Salem and Ben Strickland (Carlene) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Kevin Gossett, Bennett Strickland (Olivia) and Carson Strickland (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Cooper Gossett, Grayson Strickland, Palmer Strickland and Brynleigh Strickland; her siblings, Charles Wilder and Doris Douglas (Lunell Hinton); and her sister-in-law Milie Wilder.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel (905 Erwin Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
