She was predeceased by: her husband James Elmo Blizzard; her parents, William Ben Sutton and Mae Harrell Sutton; her siblings, Ellsworth (Lorraine W. Sutton), Craven (Edith H. Sutton), LaMuriel S. (Floyd Sutton) and Geraldine S. (Preston Wells); and her in-laws, Mordecai J. and Daphna Holmes Blizzard.
She is survived by: her children, Dexter Blizzard of Dunn and Wendee B. Cowan (Bobby) of Willard; her granddaughter Amy Blizzard; and her great grandchild Mason Blackwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
