He is survived by: his sons, Jimmie Godwin Jr. (Amanda) and Jamie Godwin (Suzanne); his grandchild Jaxson Godwin; and his siblings, Glenda Smith, Shelby Porter, Margie Godwin, Lorraine Johnson, Teresa Baker, George Godwin and Donald Godwin.
