With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Callahan of Dunn, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphus Callahan and Vara Wise Callahan; his son Lance Knox; and his brothers, Jimmy Callahan, John Callahan and Jessie Callahan.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Callahan; his daughters, Deanna Parker (Brian) and Laura K. Brewer (Whit); his siblings, Bruce "Red" Callahan (Pam), William J. Callahan (Jennie), Dessie Starling and Judy Upton (Virgil); his grandchildren, Brock Parker, Brody Parker, Hunter Brewer (Kacey), Jesse Brewer, Adam Brewer and Ana-Beth Brewer; and his great grandchildren, Katherine Brewer and Hunter Parks Brewer II.
