It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Coats Harvell (Dunn, North Carolina), who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Allen and Corinna Norris Coats; her husband George T. Harvell; and her sons, Jerry Allen Ward and Frank Edward Ward.
She is survived by: her son Thomas J. Ward, III (Joanne) of Greensboro; and her nephews, Donny Stanley (Estelle) of Dunn and Wayne Stanley of Dunn.
