She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Edgar Blanchard and Betty Page Blanchard; and her siblings, J. R. (Buddy), Willie H. Blanchard, Betty Lou Blanchard, Nadine Sessoms, Eveleen Honeycutt and Lettie Moore.

She is survived by: her husband Wildon O. Strickland; and her nephew Glenn Blanchard of Godwin, NC..

Flowers are welcome but memorials may be made to Baptist Chapel Church, 2208 Baptist Chapel Rd., Autryville, NC 28318.
