It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Wright (Dunn, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Frances Scales (Robert) of Rochester, NY and Patrick Small of Benson, NC; his niece Brenda Scott of Columbus, GA; his nephew Robert Bell of Asheville, NC; his close friend Brenda Parker; and his goddaughter Dakota. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
