He is survived by: his parent Vada Lou Williford Hinson; his son James Marshall Hinson, Jr.; his wife Patricia of Dunn; his daughter Dianne Turpin (Wayne) of Dunn; his siblings, David Hinson of Raleigh and Margie Tart of Dunn; and his grandchildren, Kevin Hinson (Jessica), Dustin Hinson (Ashley), April Stone (Donald), Pamela Tucker, Magan Ellis (Devine), Rhett Sullivan, April Turpin (Sara) and Tommy Turpin (Nina).
