He is survived by: his children, Angela Kaye Smith (Jerry) of Coats, Christopher Holder (Stephanie) of Four Oaks and Timothy Holder of Coats; and his sister Margie Herring (A. T.) of Southern Pines. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
