He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Ennis and Evelyn E. Ennis; his wife Rhea Ennis; his daughter Renee Ennis; and his siblings, Kay Ennis, Donald Ennis, Linwood Ennis and Hal Ennis.
He is survived by: his daughter Shawn Ennis of Pine Level; his stepdaughters, Chrystal Lanning and Cindy Lanning of Ohio; and his siblings, Pamalia Ennis of Dunn, Gary Ennis (Ann) of Benson, Phil Ennis (Anne) of Dunn, Stanley Ennis (Pam) of Pink Hill, NC and Perry Dale Ennis (Nikki) of Dunn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A reception was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Home of Kaylyn Powell (2805 Fairground Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
