She was predeceased by: her parents, Mann Pollock and Jessie Pollock; her husbands, Oscar Hill and Edison Gardner; her siblings, Julie Dickinson, Oleta Bunch, Margaret Mills, Bill Pollock, Arthur Pollock, Albert Pollock and Mann Pollock Jr.; her son-in-law Wayne Sessoms; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Emerson and Hollyn.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Childress (Dale) of Rocky Point, NC, Betty Lou Maynard (Clayton) of Dunn, NC, Janet Wenrich (Bryon) of Autryville, NC, Donald "Don" Hill (Paula) of Summerville, SC and Al Hill (Alesia) of Newport, NC; her brother Harold Pollock (Linda) of Newport, NC; her sister-in-law Alice Pollock; and her stepdaughters, Edna Bullard, Joyce Shirley and Betty Sue Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hill-Doughty Family Cemetery.
