He was predeceased by: his parent Myres Winston Tilghman. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Croonenberghs Tilghman; his children, Anna Tilghman (Ryan Scruggs) and Granville Myres Tilghman III (Rosalie Tilghman); and his grandsons, Granville Myres Tilghman IV, Patrick Clarke Tilghman, Desmond Bruce Tilghman and Malcolm Tilghman Scruggs.
