He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Hoke and Ockey Lucas Hamilton; his wife Jessie S. Hamilton; his children, Jennifer "Ginger" Hamilton Whittenton and Gary "Chip" Hamilton Jr.; his grandson Garrett Grantham; and his brothers, Dalton, Edward of Leodell, RL and Shelton.
He is survived by: his sister Rilda Hamilton Collier; his daughter-in-law Michele Allen Hamilton; his daughter Jill Grantham; his grandchildren, Dare Whittenton, Erin McGill, Lindsay Yates, Gary "Clint" Hamilton, Haley Grantham and Houston Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Haven Grace, Lillie Rose and Nova Ferelith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Erwin Memorial Park.
