He is survived by: his wife Opal Byrd; his daughters, Marie Hall of Benson, Nicki McLeod (Jamie) of Dunn and Jenny Bryan (James) of Four Oaks; his brothers, Donald Byrd and David Byrd of Benson; his grandchildren, Christy Peterson, Caleb Hall, Jordan and Jenna Bryan; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Grant and David Peterson.
