It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward R. Lewis Jr. (Dunn, North Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda Sutton Lewis; his daughters, Wendy Lewis Murray (Elwyn) of Ahoskie, NC and Gina Lewis Basnight (Michael Basnight) of Ahoskie, NC; his grandchildren, Sidney of Elwyn, Cameron, Julia and David; and his siblings, Richard Lewis (JoAnn) and Meg Reaves (Tom).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Dunn, 901 N. Park Ave, Dunn, NC 28344 or Plain View Fire Department, 5041 Highway, Dunn, 28344.
