It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Eloise Lockamy (Dunn, North Carolina), who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Henry Gregory; her husband James Lee Lockamy; and her siblings, Lena Gregory Tripp, Alliene Gregory and Johnny Gregory.
She is survived by: her brothers, Marvin Gregory and Odell Gregory; her children, Bobbie "Honey" Sue Smith (Larry Odell Smith), James Mitchell Lockamy and Jerry Martin Lockamy; her grandsons, Kenneth "Little Ken" Earl Byrd, Jr. and James Robert; and her son-in-law Larry Odell Smith.
