He was predeceased by: his parents, Liston Jackson and Flonnie Norris Jackson; and his brother Earl Grey Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Clarice Barefoot Jackson; his children, Michael Ray Jackson, Michelle Jackson McJunkin (Brian) of Hillsborough and Marsha Jackson Harrell (John) of Rougemont; his grandchildren, Torin Alston, Tyson McJunkin and Amanda Harrell; and his sisters, Mary J. Barham of Fuquay-Varina, Rachel Godwin of Ft. Walton Beach, Hazel Raper of Greensboro and Faye Lloyd (Ben) of Waxhaw.
