David left this world on April 7, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his sons, Rodrique McCain and Abasil McCain; his sister Mary Travis; his aunt Tina McCormick; his uncle Richard McCormick; his nieces, Tamara Spencer and Rebekkah Roberts; his nephew Philip Tyner; and his close friend Tabitha Pass. He is also survived by Sixteen Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Butler & Son Funeral Home (10501 Roseboro Hwy, Roseboro, NC 28382). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas AME Zion Church (810 Bullard St, Roseboro, NC 28382).
