He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmon McPherson and Audrey McPherson; and his son Scotty Wayne Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran" McPherson; his children, Bobby Lynn Byrd (Willene), Stacey Lipscomb and Lynette Long (Barry); his brother David McPherson (Susan); and his pet Maggie Mae. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great, great- grandchildren.
