He is survived by: his wife Rosa B. Barfield of Dunn; his sons, Carey Brian Barfield, II of Sweet Home, OR and Christopher Allen Barfield of Dunn; and his granddaughter Taytum Willow Barfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
